Two people were killed while 14 others were hurt after a passenger bus fell off a cliff in Quezon province on Tuesday, a radio report said.
The bus, which came from Sorsogon and bound for Quezon City, fell off a 50-foot cliff along New Diversion road in Pagbilao town, Bombo Radyo quoted town police head Chief Inspector Francis Pasno in a report.
The report added that the bus was approaching a curve when the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to plunge into the cliff.
The fatalities still remain unidentified as of posting time, while those injured have been brought to a nearby hospital for treatment, it added.—Andreo C. Calonzo/JV, GMANews.TV
