Hours after a magnitude-5.8 quake rocked several areas in Mindanao, a magnitude-4.2 quake rocked the Bicol region late Wednesday afternoon.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said it expects no damage or casualty from the quake recorded at 5:21 p.m.
In its bulletin, Phivolcs said the quake was tectonic, with its epicenter traced to 40 km northwest of Naga City in Camarines Sur.
It was felt at Intensity III in Guinayangan, Quezon province.
However, Phivolcs said no aftershock was expected from the quake.
Earlier, Phivolcs said a magnitude-5.8 quake hit parts of Mindanao, saying aftershocks there were expected.
The Mindanao quake was felt as far north as Cebu in Central Visayas. - KBK, GMANews.TV
