MANILA, Philippines - A 23-year-old woman gave birth in an Light Rail Transit (LRT) coach in Manila on Saturday morning.
Geraldine Mahinay was with her brother-in-law when she gave birth to a healthy baby boy inside an LRT coach at the Pedro Gil station.
A radio dzMM report said that Mahinay came from Parañaque City and was rushing to the Dr. Jose Favella Memorial Hospital in Sta. Cruz district.
Guards at the Pedro Gil station immediately brought the mother and the baby boy to the Philippine General Hospital. -- Report from Henry Atuelan, radio dzMM
