3 girls sold for P6,000 each

MANILA, Philippines – The National Bureau of Investigation’s (NBI) Anti-Human Trafficking Division has filed a case against a man accused of selling 3 girls for sex in exchange for P6,000 each .
 
Ronnel Najorda, a resident of Pasay City, was caught in an entrapment operation set up by TV program BITAG last December 21 inside the Binondo Suites at Ongpin corner Padilla St. in Santa Cruz, Manila.
 
He allegedly offered a 15-year-old, a 16-year-old, and an 18-year-old girl to prospective clients. 
 
Najorda is facing charges for violating Republic Act (RA) 9208 or the Anti-Trafficking In Persons Act of 2008, and RA 7610 or the act providing for stronger deterrence and special protection against child abuse, exploitation, and discrimination.
 
Marked money was used in the entrapment operation. 
 
A certification from the NBI's Forensic Chemistry Division that showed the UV examination conducted on the front and back portions of the hands of the suspect revealed yellow fluorescent smudges. 
 
The information sheet on the charges against Najorda has been filed at the Department of Justice for immediate inquest.
