Indonesian volcano unleashes biggest eruption yet

MOUNT MERAPI, Indonesia — Indonesia's deadly Mount Merapi is erupting with its biggest volcanic blast yet, with hot clouds spewing up to six miles away.

The blast Wednesday afternoon followed a morning eruption that sent searing gas clouds down the volcano's scorched flanks. No casualties were immediately reported.
